Fore! Stor-Age Sponsors Multiple Golf Events

One way to interact with the community where your business operates is by sponsoring golf events. Stor-Age recently got involved at the annual Grey College Reunion Golf Day in Bloemfontein, the Meridian Pinehurst Private School Annual Golf Day in Cape Town and the annual Rotary Golf Day that took place at Milnerton Golf Club. We love attending these events and chatting to the goflers as they make their rounds. To make sure they enjoy the experience we offer some refreshments and even a little bit of chocolate to keep them going.

Grey College Reunion Golf Day in Bloemfontein
Stor-Age Bloemfontein sponsored a hole at the annual Grey College Reunion Golf Day. They were delighted to welcome Chris, Brad and Richard Malyon, who represented Stor-Age at the event. What started as a beautiful day was rudely interrupted by a massive sandstorm, luckily due to some quick work from the team, most of the branding at the sponsored hole was able to be saved and no major damage was caused. After an hour delay the players were able to continue their round in windy conditions. All in all, a lot of fun was had by all on the day and it represented a wonderful opportunity to spend time with our colleagues in Bloemfontein.

Meridian Pinehurst Private School Annual Golf Day, Pinehurst, Cape Town
We recently got involved in the Meridian Pinehurst Private School Annual Golf Day. This was their second year and was an even bigger success than last year. There was a full field of players and like last year Lauren provided assistance at the event. We were at the 15th hole so some of the gents were really thirsty and tired when they arrived. The guys in the red didn't play for Stor-Age it was just a coincidence. Looking forward to next years event.

Rotary Golf Day at Milnteron Golf Club in Cape Town
Stor-Age Edgemead and City Vault partnered to sponsor a hole, some prizes and even a team to participate. We were there to witness two of the three first tee-offs hit the water. Fortunately Rob Kent saved our blushes as he managed to find a good spot on the fairway. At the watering hole we managed to hand out some refreshments, chocolates and even some amateur golfing advice such as, "hit it hard." A good day was had by all and it was fantastic to be part of this worthy cause as proceeds went to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation of South Africa.
