Who featured in this week’s Local Business Spotlight?

The South African business landscape is diverse and inspiring. This week’s three businesses that we profiled in the Local Business Spotlight are proof of this dynamic spirit.

From the friendly faces at Lekker Kalk Bay, the uplifting Roots & Shoots organisation and the energetic team at Vanessa Nicolau Theatre and Events - we’re proud to call these businesses valued customers of Stor-Age.

Find out more about what makes these businesses unique.

Lekker Kalk Bay

The coastal town of Kalk Bay is one of the most vibrant places in Cape Town, with a wide variety of restaurants and coffee shops to enjoy while you soak up the atmosphere. Monday’s feature was on Lekker Kalk Bay, a popular restaurant  which is frequented by both locals and visitors to the town.

In fact, even British-Nigerian actor Hakeem Kae-Kazim couldn’t resist a visit! Check out more of their fun-loving stories on their Instagram page or browse their menu on their website. Local really is lekker!

Roots & Shoots

On Wednesday we shone the spotlight on a heart-warming endeavour! Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots is a youth-led community action programme that strives to bring about positive change in local communities for animals and the environment.

At the moment they are looking for volunteers for various activities, both in the field and office-based, in Western Cape and Gauteng. Visit Roots & Shoot’s Instagram page or their website to learn more about the global network and to see the great work they are doing. You can also visit their Facebook page.

Vanessa Nicolau Theatre and Events

If William Shakespeare is right and all the world’s a stage, and all the men and women are merely players, then the team from Vanessa Nicolau Theatre and Events got the main part!

This fun and dynamic group works hard to keep the ancient art of theatre alive, each offering their expertise in lighting, acting, sound, and set design. On Friday  we put them centre stage as the focus of the Local Business Spotlight. Find out more on their website or Facebook page
