John Smit Stores At New Mount Edgecombe Store In Durban
Stor-Age has had a number of rugby players come through the doors to store household items when moving home or renovating. The latest celebrity to make use of our storage services is ex-Springbok and current Sharks CEO, John Smit. Our new store in Mount Edgecombe, Durban was the selected storage facility for Mr Smit's requirement and our staff were delighted to meet the World Cup winning captain and most capped Springbok player in history.
Smit also had a good chat with our store manager, Ken Lawlor, "He asked me if I would consider playing for his team, despite the fact that my very mediocre rugby playing in high school was a rusty 12 years ago. This aside, he was convinced that any experience holding a rugby ball would put me or anyone else at top of the pops based on his existing side." Typical confidence from such a successful and driven South African.Did you know we have also had a number of other famous rugby players make use of our storage services? This includes Bryan Habana, Deon Fourie, JC Jansen van Rensburg and Peter Grant. Take a look at some of the stories when the boys made use of Stor-Age:
