Charity Alive And Well For Self Storage Across The World
The Santa Shoebox Project is possibly the most popular charity appeal in South Africa and Stor-Age has been supporting the effort to provide gifts to underprivileged children for a number of years. Safestore in the UK has teamed up with Variety Charities, "Variety provide wheelchairs, support networks, days out, equipment grants and much more for children with a diverse range of needs across the UK." Safestore are encouraging the UK public to drop off unused items for re-gifting, "Take a look around the house, in the loft and garage, and clear out some of the old unused and great quality toys, books, games and even clothes before new ones arrive this Christmas."
Amazing Spaces in the USA have partnered with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, "The mission of the USMC: bring joy into the lives of needy children during Christmas." Amazing Spaces has donated their facilities as drop off and storage points for anyone looking to give a gift. "“We were lucky that we had an extra unit to put all the toys in,” laughs Jeremy Garman, the Director of Operations for Amazing Spaces. “Each year, we love being able to help the Toys for Tots Foundation collect toys. We try to do everything possible to ensure everyone who walks through our doors donates a toy. Giving back is just one part of our Amazing difference”."
Dainton Self Storage in the UK is offering free storage for Christmas presents, In return for the free storage space they are asking their customers to donate a gift in support of the Children's Hospice South West.
