Stor-Age Sponsors Centurion Jeug Rugby Under 18’s
Stor-Age Samrand recently partnered with Centurion Jeug Rugby as a kit sponsor for the club’s under 18 team as part of their community interaction projects. This saw the sponsoring of a range of rugby kit and after game wear for the boys to make use of during the upcoming season. As part of the sponsorship, each member of the Centurion Jeug Rugby under 18’s squad received a Stor-Age branded warm-up top for preparation before fixtures. They also received a Stor-Age branded fleece jacket and golf shirt to be worn after matches. This ensures that the boys will be able to wear their club colours with pride during the course of a match day and represent Centurion Jeug Rugby both on and off the field.
In addition to the pre and post-match wear sponsored by Stor-Age, the brand new white and orange Centurion Jeug Rugby under 18 home jersey will feature Stor-Age branding across the chest. The boys also received water bottle carriers to ensure that players stay refreshed during the course of matches and training sessions. Hannelie Vosloo, Operations Manager at Stor-Age Samrand had the following comments following the kit handover, “It was wonderful to see how excited the boys were about receiving the kit, it feels great to contribute to this project.” Stor-Age is proud to be associated with a growing and thriving rugby club and excited to support them as they continue playing a vital role in developing rugby players in the Pretoria region. Zaan Swart, manager of the Centurion Jeug Rugby under 18 team, was thrilled with the contribution saying, “The boys cannot wait to wear their new jerseys for the first time, we are sure they will wear them with pride.”
This is not the first time that Stor-Age has been involved with the development of rugby in the communities that they operate. There have also been kit and equipment sponsorships for Pirates Rugby Club in Centurion and Khosa Rugby Club in Krugersdorp. In Cape Town they have sponsored Hamiltons Rugby club youth, Kraaifontein Rugby Club, Edgemead Primary School, The Pretenders touch rugby, Wynberg Boys Rugby as well as an official name sponsor for False Bay Sharks Rugby Club.
