Request From Local Sports Team Has Stor-Age Wondering What They Are Up To
A surprising request from one of our local community sports clubs had us wondering what they were up to but we made a plan. Edgemead soccer club gave us a call and asked if they could get a rugby ball?! Now our game is self storage but we do know you don't need a rugby ball to play soccer. So we wanted to know what they were up to.
The Edgemead senior men's soccer team had their last training session this Thursday night and to have some lighthearted fun they decided to play a game of Aussie Rules. The head coach Bobby Cameron sees this as a tradition for the end of season celebrations and picked up the game from his short time living in Australia. "The boys usually have a great time playing this game and it's just a good laugh, a way to unwind from the pace of the season."
Edgemead are sitting in third position on the league table with their last league game against Tramway to be played at Tramway on Saturday. Committed to community interaction and sports sponsorship, Stor-Age has supported many schools and sports clubs.
