We offer competitive rates of pay which are reviewed on an annual basis.
If you work in store you will be eligible to participate in our KPI based staff incentive scheme, of up to 20% of your monthly salary, calculated based on the KPI score achieved by your store in the previous month. As a member of the Head Office team you will be eligible to participate in a store KPI linked staff incentive scheme and/or you will be eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus.
3. Hospital Plan
We believe all our staff should have healthy minds and healthy bodies. That is why we have partnered with Momentum to offer our staff competitive hospital plan rates. You can join the programme from day one to get your family covered.
4. Retirement Annuity
We encourage all of our staff to participate in our Group Retirement Annuity Plan. You can also qualify for a Company Loyalty Benefit of R500 per month once you have contributed for one year and you have been employed with the company for more than three years.
5. Dream Awards
All Operations Managers are eligible to qualify for a R30,000 award (the Operations Manager’s ‘Dream Award’) at the end of the financial year. The award is not redeemable for cash, and is based on objective performance measures.
6. Holiday entitlement
Holidays start at either 15 or 18 days per annum, depending on whether you are employed as a 5 or 6 day worker respectively. Increasing with service to a maximum of 20 or 23 days a year.

2. Monthly Prize Draw
Each month you’ll (all salaried employees) be entered into our fun draw to win a R2,500 shopping voucher of your choice from either of Pick ’n Pay, Shoprite Checkers or Woolworths. The winner is announced on the Intranet at 12:00 on the last working day of every single month.
3. Introduce a friend
If you successfully introduce a friend to work for us, we’ll reward you with a R2,500 shopping voucher of your choice from either of Pick ’n Pay, Shoprite Checkers or Woolworths.
You receive your birthday as an extra day off.
We’ll congratulate you with a bottle of champagne or some vouchers of your choice.
If you get married or enter in to a civil partnership you’ll receive a R2,500 @Home gift voucher from the Company.
When we hear the patter of little feet, we’ll send you a R2,500 Baby City gift voucher to kit out your new addition!
8. Service awards
We recognise employees who are loyal to the organisation and reward service achievements appropriately.
9. Company Conference
It’s essential that everyone knows about our business and where we’re going. We therefore hold an annual conference to review our achievements and look at what is coming up in the year ahead. We reward both team and individual success with prizes (vouchers)!
All our stores and Head Office have a fund to organise social events. Our past activities have included meals out, go-karting, paint balling, rugby festivals, cricket matches and comedy evenings!
11. Year End Party
We have an annual Year End Party and past venues include Cape Point Vineyards.
